Content Policy for Summer 2020
Starting this summer we will begin using "Smart Live Protection" to protect LEC and European Masters assets. This will shut down rogue streams rebroadcasting our shows as well as VODs that reupload our footage without adding value. This will not impact the majority of our community.
We will not be shutting down highlight videos, commenting videos, or co-commenting streams. Our main goal is to stop the practice of reposting our content in its original unedited form on third party channels without permission. We believe now is the right time to implement this process because as the LEC continues to grow and expand its lineup of partners, it's more important than ever that we ensure our IP is being represented in its intended format.
Currently we are in the process of approaching content creators to clarify our stance and answer any questions they might have.
