We are excited to announce our multi-year partnership with the world's most popular global audio streaming subscription service: Spotify. Spotify will serve as the official audio and music streaming partner for LoL Esports global events: the World Championship, Mid-Season Invitational, and All-Star Event.
In this first-of-its-kind collaboration, Spotify and Riot Games will produce a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the Worlds Anthem, develop various podcast series, create curated playlists, and launch a new LoL Esports Hub on Spotify.
**Official LoL Esports Music Hub:** Designed to provide an even richer League of Legends fan experience, this hub is brimming with music, podcasts, and playlists inspired by the gaming and esports community, including popular playlists “This is League of Legends” and “Official League of Legends.” The hub also includes a new “Road to Worlds” playlist, which features songs selected by top teams from the LPL, LCK, LEC, and LCS.
**Exclusive and Original Podcasts:** Already home to more than 1.5 million podcast titles, we’re collaborating with Spotify to give fans deeper access to the sport through several original podcast series. First up is Untold Stories: Top Moments from Worlds, a 10-episode series that highlights one unique story from each World Championship.
**More Music Moments:** Through the Worlds Anthem Takeover on Spotify, the audio streaming provider will provide fans with a behind-the-scenes look at creating the popular Worlds Anthem. Released annually since 2014, we’ve collaborated with popular artists like Imagine Dragons, The Glitch Mob, and Against the Current to produce annual musical records that set the tone and celebrate the event.
**Sonic Event Experiences:** Drafting off one of the most anticipated songs in League of Legends esports, Silver Scrapes, which only plays ahead of the deciding game in a best-of-five series, Spotify will serve as the presenting partner of Game 5, bringing fans to their feet during the most exciting moments of the Mid-Season Invitational and the World Championship.
