LCS returns on Friday, June 4 and we’re excited to announce an updated version of our co-streaming program for Summer Split.
The LCS Watch Party Program is a new-look for the existing co-streaming initiative that is debuting with a roster of fan-favorite personalities. The aim of the Watch Party Program is to deepen the connection between LCS and our program partners through more opportunities for content, more community engagement and more centralized communication with the LCS.
To ensure partners can get the most out of the program, the LCS Watch Party Program will operate independently from the broader League Partnership Program (LPP) and focus only on creators who are—or intend to be—regularly co-streaming and partnering with the LCS. As a result, LCS co-streaming permissions will no longer be automatically granted to LPP members.
The inaugural LCS Watch Party Roster will feature:
- [Nick "LS" De Cesare][1]
- [Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng][2]
- [Zachary "Sneaky" Scuderi][3]
- [William "Meteos" Hartman][4]
- [Christian "IWDominate" Rivera][5]
- [Moe "Yassuo" Abdalrhman][6]
Other stream partners:
- [FlyQuest Presents: LCS En Vivo][7]
Over the course of the split, the LCS may also add other pre-selected streamers and broadcast partners to the program.
The LCS has long seen our league co-streamers as our partners. We believe our leveled up program will allow us to strengthen those bonds between the league and our creator community.
The 2021 LCS Summer Split Watch Party Program Policy
----------------------------------------------------
- Co-streaming is defined as rebroadcasting the content from a current stream while adding live commentary and/or video.
- Only members of the LCS Watch Party Program will be permitted to co-stream live LCS games and Academy games. The LCS reserves the right to extend invites for participation in the co-streaming program to other streamers or broadcast partners with the express written consent of LCS management.
- If you choose to include a guest in your co-stream, that guest must also follow the guidelines of the co-streaming program at all times. Guests must be approved by Riot and guests cannot publish content from the co-stream to their own channel unless they are a member of the LCS Watch Party Program. All co-streamers and their guests must meet the legal age requirement of 21+ for our sponsors.
- Co-streaming is only available in English or Spanish at this time on the following live platforms: Twitch and YouTube. The LCS Management team reserves the right to make language and platform exceptions at any time.
LCS and Academy sponsors, sponsored segments, or stitched commercials may not be altered or covered in any way. Do not disparage League sponsors.
- Co-streamer sponsors may be used assuming (i) they do not conflict with LCS sponsors; and (ii) they are not on the Restricted Sponsorship List (Drugs, Liquor, Pornography, Gambling).
- All co-streaming of live Academy and LCS games must comply with [The Summoner’s Code][8], [Riot Games Legal Jibber Jabber][9], and the terms of service on your respective streaming platform.
- All co-streamers must provide viewership data to the LCS and Academy for the time they are co-streaming any LCS and Academy broadcast. Note: this is automated by a third party, so this will not be necessary to provide unless specifically requested.
- The LCS reserves the right to utilize co-streaming content for broadcast and marketing purposes (excluding paid advertising).
- All co-streamers must include the relevant hashtag in their stream title: #LCSWatchParty or #AcademyWatchParty
- Please be responsible, and respectful. LCS reserves the right to remove access to the co-stream program at any time.
