Beginning with the 2021 Mid-Season Showdown, the LCS will be authorizing the use of a third-party tool, Smart Live Protection, to assist the LCS in the safeguarding of our video assets. This will remove any uploaded LCS VODs that do not add value, inline with our [Legal Jibber Jabber][1] policy.
This shouldn’t impact the majority of our community as we will not request the removal of highlight videos, commenting videos, or approved co-streams.
We value the passion of content creators and their contributions to the LCS community. Our goal is to stop the practice of reposting our content in its original unedited form on third party channels without permission, and to provide advance notice for any impacted creators to make adjustments.
