Just as Spring Split action is heating up, we’re excited to have yet another world-class brand take their place on the Rift in support of the LCS and our pros.
AT&T is now the Official Connectivity Partner for the LCS, where their transformative technology will power multiple areas of the LCS event and broadcast experience.
As part of the partnership, we’re introducing a new match-day broadcast segment, “LCS Connected presented by AT&T” that will showcase what happens behind the scenes during game action with audio of real-time shot calls and tactical discussion that make or break the outcome of each LCS match.
AT&T is also the new presenting partner of “LCS Finals Fan Fest,” the can’t-miss pre-party held during the LCS Finals and LCS Championship. They will also be front and center with in-game placement via rift banners and on player, referee, and shoutcaster headsets.
“AT&T has been a long-time supporter of gaming and esports, so we’re excited to forge this partnership with a brand that has a passion for our league, players, and fans,” said Mark Zimmerman, LCS Commissioner. “The LCS is embarking on an exciting new chapter where we’re deeply focused on creating new, innovative experiences for our teams and viewers, and AT&T has been a leader in creating cutting-edge technologies that are essential to our sport.”
“Riot Games’ dedication to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in esports is one of the reasons why we’re excited to help power a new level of activation and engagement for both players and fans,” said AT&T AVP of Sponsorships and Experiential, Sabina Ahmed. “Working with Riot Games’ passionate LCS community allows us to do just that, and our shared commitment in innovation, performance, and elevating entertainment value will ultimately better connect the gaming and esports community to greater possibility.”
The support of the LCS through top name brands is at an all-time high with AT&T now being the third new brand to throw their support behind our league this year following KIA and PAGODA® Snacks.
We’re excited to welcome AT&T to the LCS!
