Split 1 overview
The 2026 League of Legends Esports season kicks off with each region running their own Split format and style. The top team from each region and second seeds from LCK, LPL qualify for First Stand.

Event Phases
Every team from this region participate.
Regular Season (Group Battle)
Teams are divided into two groups and play cross-group single round robin matches.
The results of each group are combined to determine the winning group and the losing group (Double Score System).
The 1st and 2nd place teams from the winning group advance directly to Round 2 of the Playoffs.
The 1st place team from the losing group advances directly to Round 1 of the Playoffs.
The 3rd to 5th place teams from the winning group and the 2nd to 4th place teams from the losing group (six teams in total) advance to the Play-ins.
Play-ins
In the Play-in stage, six teams face off in a single elimination, GSL-style bracket.
The winners of Round 2 and the winner of the Final Round (three teams in total) advance to the Playoffs.
Playoffs
Six teams compete in a double elimination bracket, with the top two teams qualifying for First Stand.
