Everything this LCS season has been building toward comes down to the Summer Split. Here’s everything you need to know about the final split of 2026.

The 2026 LCS Championship Driven by Kia will make its way to Atlanta, Georgia! On October 3-4, the best teams in North America will have one final showdown at Gas South Arena for the title of LCS Champion and a chance to cement their legacy in North America. Located just outside Atlanta, Gas South Arena has hosted countless concerts, sporting events, and premier live entertainment experiences, making it a great setting for one of the most important weekends in North American esports. Home to the Atlanta Gladiators, Georgia Swarm, and Atlanta Vibe, the venue will soon welcome the passionate LCS community for two days of unforgettable competition, high-stakes matches, and championship moments.
At the end of it all, one team will lift the LCS Championship trophy, while the top three teams will earn the honor of representing the LCS at the 2026 World Championship.
Tickets for the LCS Championship will be announced at a later date.
Get ready, Atlanta, the LCS is coming to town!
Gas South Arena is currently undergoing a major renovation designed to modernize the venue and elevate the guest experience. The campus is operated by the Gwinnett Convention and Visitors Bureau and plays a key role in driving tourism and economic impact for Gwinnett County and the greater Atlanta region. The LCS Summer Split starts with Opening Week Presented by Mastercard on July 25-26! Join us as we kick off summer with two days of live competition, fan experiences, and community celebrations. Fans attending Opening Week can take part in the LCS Opening Week Tailgate, explore team and partner booths, and enjoy a variety of on-site activations throughout the weekend. We also have a special Opening Week theme planned that we're not quite ready to reveal yet, but trust us, you won't want to miss it. Tickets go on sale at 10 am PDT June 18 through Tixr, so keep an eye out for more details in the coming weeks.
The 2026 LCS Summer Split will feature a best-of-three round robin regular season, raising the stakes for every matchup as teams battle for playoff positioning and a shot at the biggest stage in LoL Esports. With every series carrying weight, fans can expect more rivalries, more adaptation, and more opportunities for teams to prove they belong among North America’s elite.
When the regular season concludes, the top six teams will advance to the LCS Playoffs, where an expanded lower-bracket gauntlet will test resilience on the road to the LCS Championship Driven by Kia and ensure the Top 3 LCS teams qualify to Worlds. In a format designed to reward consistency, preparation, and clutch performances under pressure, only the strongest teams will survive.

Playoffs
The top three LCS teams will earn their place at the 2026 World Championship, representing North America on home soil as Worlds returns to the region later this year. For LCS fans, it’s a chance to welcome the best teams in the world back to North America and showcase the passion of North American League of Legends fans at every stop along the way.
