MSI overview
The top two teams from each region come together for the second international event. The winner qualifies directly to Worlds. Additionally, the 2nd place region gets a 4th seed for its domestic league at Worlds.

Event Phases
The top two teams from each region (10 total) participate in MSI. The 1st seed of each region and 2nd seed of the winning region of First Stand will get a bye into the Bracket Stage, while the other 4 teams will start from Play-In.
Play-Ins
Play-In will be four teams best of 5 GSL format, qualifying two teams (the 2-0 and 2-1 teams) into the Bracket Stage.
Playoffs
The 8 teams in Bracket Stage play a best of 5 double elimination bracket. The winner of MSI qualifies for Worlds and the 2nd place region gets a 4th seed for its domestic league at Worlds.
