As G2 Esports, Fnatic, and MAD Lions take to the stage in the Sud de France Arena to battle it out for the LEC trophy, we want to take a moment to look to the future and share our plans for the 2024 LEC Season Finals roadshow.
Bringing showstopping live events to fans across EMEA has always been a core part of what makes the LEC so special. And so, we’re proud to announce that the 2024 LEC Season Finals roadshow is heading to the city of Munich!
Germany has always been a huge part of the LEC legacy, which started during our origins as the EU LCS in Cologne before moving to Berlin in 2015. Germany became the home for all things LEC, and so in 2024 we’re going South for a weekend of LEC action in Munich, in the historic region of Bavaria.
Not only is Germany home to a whole host of LEC fans – it’s also the home of the Prime League (formerly the Premier Tour). Our German League of Legends community has continually shown up for all things LEC, so we’re thrilled to be able to bring them live LEC action from a packed stadium in 2024. We’ve had numerous German players throughout our LEC history, with six current LEC starting players and one of our partnered teams (2023 Season Finalists SK Gaming) all coming from Germany.
