The Season 2023 Kickoff Event emotes are finally here! Each of the 9 leagues created unique formats to pit pro vs pro and bring a fun start-of-the-year celebration to fans worldwide. We saw epic showdowns such as Team Faker vs Team Deft in the LCK and ran our first ever continuous broadcast for LoL Esports spanning 43 hours.
The prize? Teams got to co-create their very own emotes with our designers to be implemented into the game!
After collaborating with the winning teams in each region, we’re happy to say that 32 emotes will go live on Patch 13.6. Proceeds from the emotes, whether purchased individually or as a bundle, will be shared with the teams.
Check out the emotes below and see which ones you recognize! An example would be LCK: DK - ALPACA, co-created with DK in honor of a running joke for Deft and fans. (HINT: Each player/team is only used once)
