Split 3 of the LTA is approaching! We’re excited to continue expanding the LTA Fantasy experience for fans, and we have some updates to share before the start of the Split.
To begin with: the LTA Fantasy market opens at 2PM PT / 5PM ET! After markets open, you will be able to set your team for the first week.
Sign up at ltafantasy.com, create your team and build up your squad. Market stays open until Saturday, 8AM PT / 11AM ET, when LTA South begins. From there, you can check your score in real time and start the competition with your friends!
Variety Buff

The first major change aims to address the lack of team variety within a single lineup, an issue observed throughout Split 2, where top-scoring lineups were mostly composed of players from only one team.
To address this and bring more variety to lineups, we’ll be granting a bonus to players who select team members from different teams. The bonus will be as follows:
Players from 5 Different Teams: +20%
Players from 4 Different Teams: +15%
Players from 3 Different Teams: +10%
Players from 2 Different Teams: +5%
Players from 1 Team Only: No bonus
This change is not meant to increase overall scores but to balance out different playstyles, since it will still be possible to choose players from just one team and continue scoring if that’s your preferred approach.
New Scoring Rules

Win Against Picked Opponent: +2 Points
During the Pick and Play Phase and while opponent selection is available, players will receive a bonus if their team beats an opponent they chose to face
This bonus is awarded per game, individually for each win, not just at the end of the series.
Gold Advantage in Lane at 14 Minutes
At the 14-minute mark of the match, each player who is ahead of their lane opponent will receive a bonus
The score will be calculated using the formula: Gold Advantage at 14 Minutes * 0.001. For example: if a player has a 500 gold advantage, they will receive a bonus of 0.5 points.
Objective Steals
Baron Steal: +4 Points
Elder Dragon Steal: +4 Points
Dragon Steal: +2 Points
Rift Herald Steal: +2 Points
Atakhan Steal: +3 Points
Leagues
All players will remain in the same Leagues they participated in during Stage 2. If you wish, you can leave any League you’re currently in.
The main new feature is the ability to choose whether the League operates under a continuous or limited scoring format:
In continuous mode, a player's score in the League is the sum of all their scores throughout the Stage
In limited mode, the score starts counting from the moment the player joins the League.
Leagues will also have new customization options:
League Description (up to 250 characters)
Option to rename the League
Option to delete the League
UX and UI Updates
Sell All Players button in the Market to make switching between rounds easier
Users can now change their Favorite Team (once per Stage, before the Round 1 Market closes)
Player view in the Market has been updated for better navigation
The “Dream Team of the Week” will always be displayed on the Home Page
The top scores of the week will also appear on the Home Page
Substitutions
If you pick a player that is substituted at a specific round, his score will be equal to the player that was his sub. His price, however, will remain the same, since he hasn't played any match in that round.
Aiming to simplify the user experience in cases where teams rotate players in a position or in the event of surprise substitutions, we opted for a fixed system for replacing scores instead of using a bench system.
