LPL Summer Viewership 2020
The 2020 LPL Summer Split has come to a successful conclusion, and we are proud to announce its international live viewership.
In 2020, the LPL added Vietnamese, Korean and French streams in addition to our existing English broadcast, further expanding our international live coverage. It is worth mentioning that the viewership of the 2020 LPL Summer Finals far exceeded estimates for multiple indicators, with peak concurrent viewers in particular exceeding 310,000. The complete numbers are as follows:
- Peak Concurrent Users（PCU）: The Peak Concurrent Users (PCU) in the 2020 LPL Summer Finals for our international broadcast hit an all-time high of 310,000, an increase of 188% from last year's Summer Finals and nearly tripling previous numbers.
- Average Minute Audience（AMA）: Average Minute Audience (AMA) for the 2020 LPL Summer Finals for our international broadcast was more than 170,000, an increase of 188% and another record high.
-Hours Watched:
Total Hours Watched for the 2020 LPL Summer Finals international broadcast exceeded 10 million hours, an increase of 351% from the 2019 Summer Finals and reaching a record high.
The international viewership of the 2020 LPL Summer Split set many new records, further confirming the expansion of the LPL's international influence.
