Introducing 2024 Americas Challengers

As announced last year, we’re excited to unveil Americas Challengers, our Americas Tier 2 cross-regional tournament! The event will be a weeklong tournament featuring 6 teams in total: the top 2 teams from NACL Summer Playoffs in North America; the top 2 teams from CBLOL Academy Split 2 Playoffs in Brazil; and the top team from the Latin America Northern Regional League (LRN) as well as the Latin America Southern Regional League (LRS) in Latin America.

This tournament offers a new opportunity for players to grow professionally, fostering cross-regional competition and elevating Tier 2 competition—a focus we aim to further develop in 2025. It also sets the stage for heightened rivalry across the Americas, providing an early look at the strongest Tier 2 teams gearing up for next year. [Note: The 2024 Americas Challengers tournament will not impact the 2025 Guest Slots announced on June 11.]

The competition format includes a single round-robin best-of-one Group Stage, from which the top four teams will progress to a double-elimination Knockout Stage, featuring Full Fearless Draft. The event will take place at the Riot Games Arena (CBLOL Arena) in São Paulo, Brazil, with teams vying for a prize pool of $75,000.
