Drops Unlocked: Watch the LCS and Earn Loot
Learn more about how you can earn rewards while watching the LCS with Drops.
[As previously announced][1], we’re rolling out a new way for LCS fans to earn rewards like partner promotions or digital goods while watching the live matches with Drops starting Week 5. After the Classic Showmatch on Friday, July 10, don’t miss the opening game of Friday Night League with Immortals vs. Dignitas to collect your first drop of the season, including a Hextech Chest and Key, on [watch.lolesports.com][2].
**What are Drops?**
Drops appear in the form of cards likely featuring adorable poro(s) which represent a unique reward. These cards are triggered by in-game or in-broadcast events and will provide at minimum a small amount of Blue Essence. Rarer in-game moments or epic plays could trigger bigger rewards such as Hextech chests and keys, skin shards, summoner icons, and Clash tickets.
**How do I make sure I can claim Drops?**
To make sure you’re eligible for drops, make sure you’re:
- Logged in to watch.lolesports.com with your League of Legends account
in a Riot or Tencent region
- Make sure you have opted in to receive rewards and drops on the
Rewards Page.
- If a Drop is triggered by an in-game moment during a live LCS match,
you will see an on-screen notification. Simply click this
notification or check the Drops tab on your profile page to receive
your rewards. Your card will appear on the Drops tab on
watch.lolesports.com anytime afterward and in-game goods will
automatically appear in your account within 24 hours.
**How else can I earn rewards while watching League of Legends esports?**
Watch Rewards are still enabled and available, with new missions added just for Summer Split 2020.
We’ll continue to iterate on Drops over the course of the split to make them more dynamic and interactive with new rotating rewards to enhance the viewing experience for the LCS fans. We’ll continue to share updates via [Twitter (@LCSOffical)][3] about some of the rotating weekly Drops rewards so stay tuned to know more about the latest loot.
