League of Legends esports is revving up for the final showdowns of the Spring Split, and it has certainly been one of the most interesting and inspiring seasons to date.
From KT Rolster’s impressive eight-game winning streak in the LCK to Vici Gaming’s amazing upset over RNG in the LPL, from the heartbreak of four-time LCS champion Team Liquid missing the playoffs to LEC’s Misfits snapping G2 Esports’ attempt at a perfect season, it has been a whirlwind of a season.
Throughout April and May, all 12 regional leagues will hold their 2020 Spring Finals and we invite fans to catch all the thrills, upsets, and victories with us online at watch.lolesports.com. Here’s a quick look at some of our leagues as they wrap their regular season and head into their playoffs:
**- LEC:** After taking down Origen in the first round of Play-Offs, Fnatic
looks to return to the Finals, but standing in their way is the
rookie squad of MAD Lions, who shocked Europe with their surprise
upset over G2 Esports.

**- LCS:** Cloud9 is the front-runner for the Spring Split title after only
dropping one game in the regular season. Will they finally hoist the
championship trophy again, what would be their first since 2014? With
defending champion Team Liquid not qualifying for Playoffs, any of
the top teams could capture the title.

**- LCK:** Gen.G and T1 solidified themselves early in the season as the
teams to beat, though T1 leads their head-to-head series this split
2-0.

**- LPL:** The two World Champions from the LPL, Invictus Gaming (2018) and
FunPlus Phoenix (2019), have had solid performances this season,
dropping only three games total between them. Many eyes are also on
eStar, which has had one of the strongest team debuts in LPL history
with a 9W-4L record*.
