All You Need to Know about the LEC 2022 Summer Finals Warm-Up
We’ve got plenty of LEC content lined up - here’s the run-down of what’s to come on Sunday.
The League of Legends European Championship 2022 Summer Finals is fast approaching and we’ve got lots lined up for you all to enjoy as we celebrate 10 years of European League of Legends!
With things slowly returning to normal, we are really pleased with how the season has played out andloved being able to welcome crowds back to live LEC events. We’re also excited to be able to host our LEC Roadshow since 2019 for the Summer Finals - bringing two best-of-five matches to the European stage once more.
To celebrate this, we’re presenting an entire day of LEC content leading up to the official opening ceremony, which can be watched from the comfort of your own home if you aren’t able to make it to Malmö. From 12:00pm CEST, we'll stream a variety of content on our channels, including content from our LEC teams, on-air broadcast team and talented community as well as highlights from Cold Open segments and EUphoria.
As part of the show, we have plenty of behind-the-scenes content lined up that you’ll be ecstatic to see. This includes a segment from our parting team, Misfits Gaming, who will be showcasing their favourite moments and memories from their time with us. There will even be a certain team owner reading and reacting to all the ‘mean tweets’ the community has written about him. We’ll also be celebrating 10 years of EULCS and LEC with a selection of our greatest content pieces starting at 12:15pm CEST, and also a special one-hour edition of RDYCHK before our opening ceremony begins at 17:00pm CEST.
As the 2022 Summer Season draws closer to an end, the air is rife with excitement to see who will reign supreme. Will Fnatic make the miracle run through the lower bracket to face G2 in the finals? Or will it be Rogue who get their revenge on the Samurais, and claim their first ever LEC title? You won’t want to miss out on this action-packed weekend.
