Vietnam Championship Series 2024 Summer Split kicks off on June 21st

The road to Worlds begins!

Co-organized by Riot Games and VNGGames, the Vietnam Championship Series 2024 Summer Split (VCS 2024 Summer) will kick off on June 21st with the goal of finding the best representatives from the VCS to compete at Worlds! The VCS 2024 Summer Split Playoffs will also offer teams a chance to secure their spot in the new APAC league next year.

VCS 2024 Summer will feature 7 teams, and will be divided into two halves across 8 weeks:

Regular Season:

- Happening from June 21 2024 – August 4 2024

- Seven teams will compete in a Double Round Robin format

- All matches are played in a best-of-3 format

- Five top teams in Regular Season will head to the Playoffs

Playoffs:

- Happening from August 7 2024 - August 18 2024

- Five top teams from the Regular Season will compete in a Hybrid Elimination format

- All matches are played in a best-of-5 format

- VCS Final Winner will be the 1st seed at Worlds 2024, the Runner-up will be the 2nd seed

This season will continue applying 1v1 Showdown, where teams will compete to win the right to choose their side (Blue or Red) if it goes to the final game in a Best-of-3 or Best-of-5 series. This will apply to both the Regular Season and Playoffs.
