As the 2026 season of the League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP) comes to an end, two teams must now defend their status as LCP teams at the upcoming Promotion Series (P&R).
In partnership with VPStudio (VPS), ROG, and Bánh Mì PewPew, P&R will head to Ho Chi Minh City for the first time, with fans able to watch the event live at the VPS Arena from 10-13 November! There will also be a host of activities on-site as the LCP once again brings the community together to celebrate League of Legends both in and out of the game.
Even with the announcement that domestic teams will have a direct path to the LCP in each split next year, P&R will continue to carry high stakes. Teams that secure their status as an LCP team will receive a share of the Regional GRP in 2027, providing additional financial support next year.
Following their performance during LCP 2026, two teams have been selected to participate in P&R:
They will go up against teams that qualified from domestic leagues and the winners of the Wild Card Playoffs.
In the Regional Merit slot, Ground Zero Gaming will face FRANK Esports in a Best-of-5 (BO5), with the winner earning LCP team status in 2027.
In the FFA slot, the four remaining teams from domestic leagues and Wild card will go head to head in a single elimination BO5 bracket. The last remaining team will face DetonatioN FocusMe, with LCP team status for 2027 on the line.
The LCP 2026 Promotion Series will be held at the VPS Arena from 10-13 November.
