The 2025 season got off to an electric start as Fearless Draft gifted us fresh and creative match-ups throughout Winter, giving our teams the perfect training to blossom into their full potential this Spring.
Back in the Winter Playoffs, Karmine Corp had initially struggled with the Fearless format but found the perfect strategy for the Split Final — win in three straight games. Their remarkable 3-0 domination of G2 Esports is one of biggest results in recent LEC history, potentially ushering in a new era to League of Legends in EMEA.
And now following First Stand, KCorp will return to EMEA to find a refreshed LEC with nine teams who have been training hard to claim the Spring title.
With an even more competitive format, two Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) spots to compete for, and multiple adrenaline-pumping Roadtrips with insanely passionate crowds all to look forward to, this split is going to be a must watch.
Here’s everything you need to know about LEC Spring Split 2025.
LEC Spring Split Format
As the weather begins to heat up, so is the competition in the LEC this Spring. Throughout the entire split, there will not be any best-of-ones. We’ll determine the absolute best with a gauntlet of tense, multi-game series for teams to fully show their skills.
The regular season will last for seven weeks as teams face one another in best-of-threes across a single round robin. These series will determine our Playoffs contenders but unlike Winter, only six teams will be able to qualify and compete for the Spring title.
Then, the playoffs will be made up entirely of best-of-fives and in a double elimination format so each team has a fair chance to prove themselves as the strongest team in EMEA. And we’re delighted to confirm that, after all of your overwhelming love for Fearless Draft, the format is returning this split! After speaking with our LEC teams, the response has been overwhelmingly positive and Fearless Draft will be used in all of EMEA’s multi-game series, both in Spring and throughout the 2025 season! We’re constantly listening to your feedback so please keep sharing your thoughts so together, we can create the best league for you all!
The two LEC Spring Playoff finalists will both qualify for MSI in Vancouver, Canada where they will represent EMEA versus the world’s best teams. But before that, the two finalists will compete against each other in the Split Final to claim the prestigious Spring Split title.
LEC Spring 2025 Roadtrips
We’re taking this show on the road!
We’re unbelievably excited to bring the LEC to Spain and France this year as Movistar KOI and KCorp will both host special local shows this split to bring some of EMEA’s biggest match-ups to their notoriously loud and passionate fans.
On April 26-27, MKOI are hosting the LEC in Madrid as they, G2, Fnatic, and GIANTX will compete in the Madrid Arena during a weekend full of exhilarating action.
And then May 10-11, KCorp will welcome SK Gaming, G2, and their French rivals Team Vitality to their own Les Arènes for some more high-stake series in front of an electric crowd.

LEC Spring 2025 Key Dates
All the action gets underway with the regular season starting on Saturday, March 29. That will kickstart seven consecutive weeks of best-of-threes with the regular season coming to a climax on 10,11, and 12 of May. From Spring Split onwards, the LEC broadcast will now start at 5 PM CET.
There will then be a one-week break for teams to recuperate before the Playoffs kick-off on May 24 with immediate high-stakes best-of-fives for you all to sink your teeth into. And then we’ll reach our thrilling conclusion and crown our LEC Spring Champions on Sunday, June 8.
