TLDR:
The League of Legends Game Changers: Rising (LGC), the official EMEA League of Legends competition for anyone identifying as women, is back.
After the launch of last year’s edition, we knew we wanted to keep developing this competition even further. For 2026, we will be introducing a reimagined format, with stages spawning from May to October, offering women from all over the region a consistent and meaningful competition. Last year, Eterna fought their way to the Finals and ultimately claimed the Championship. This year, expect new stars to rise, rivalries to take shape, and incredible high-level League of Legends play.

Kicking off on May 29, the League of Legends Game Changers: Rising will see Teams go head-to-head as they battle their way up the standings and fight for a spot in the October Playoffs. At every stage, top-performing teams will earn qualification points, building toward the overall standings that will ultimately decide who makes the cut, with the top 6 getting their ticket for Playoffs. As the LGC aims to build a more inclusive EMEA ecosystem by connecting with national inclusive circuits across the region, we are also working to strengthen pathways that support the shared growth of the competitive scene.
Building an inclusive and supportive environment for all players is fundamental to what we do. The continuation and evolution of the League of Legends Game Changers goes beyond competition: it’s about actively creating the conditions for women across EMEA to step forward, compete at the highest level, and be seen and recognized for their talent and achievements. Our leagues are open by design, and our ambition is clear: ensure that when the next generation of top players rises, they are not only welcomed, but fully valued as part of the competitive landscape.

More details about the format and planning will be communicated soon, so make sure you follow the League of Legends Game Changers on X, and Instagram so you don’t miss out!
We’re incredibly excited for this next chapter where we hope to shine a spotlight on the region's talent and growth of our ecosystem.
