Starting in Split 1, Riot Games is introducing Twitch Subscriptions to select LoL Esports broadcast channels! This new initiative offers fans an enhanced viewing experience while providing direct support to their favorite leagues and teams.

Subscription Perks

Subscribing to LoL Esports Twitch channels unlocks a variety of benefits, including:

• Ad-free Viewing: Enjoy uninterrupted broadcasts.

• Region-Exclusive Twitch Chat Emotes: Showcase your fandom with unique emotes.

• Twitch Channel Badges: Display loyalty with special subscriber badges.

• Channel Points: Earn and redeem points for fun interactions.

• Subscriber-Only Chat: Participate in exclusive discussions.

Additional Perks for Paid and Gifted Subs

For Split 1, subscribers with paid and gifted Tier 1 subscriptions will unlock exclusive in-game rewards through Twitch’s Drop Fest. Subscribers can earn the special “Why Though?” emote by subscribing to participating channels. For future splits, regional Twitch channels will provide updates on additional in-game rewards.

To qualify for the in-game reward:

1. Connect your Twitch and Riot accounts.

2. Subscribe to a participating channel.

3. Claim the reward from your Twitch inventory.

Note: Prime subscriptions are not eligible for this reward. For further details, refer to Twitch’s Drop Fest marketing page (coming soon).

Supporting the Ecosystem

The introduction of Twitch subscriptions for LoL Esports channels provides fans with a meaningful way to support their favorite leagues directly. Riot will:

• Maintain the standard partner revenue split with Twitch

• Allocate a portion of the proceeds to the Global Revenue Pool, which supports leagues and teams
