Although all three competing teams will have already punched their tickets to Worlds, only one will walk away with the LCS Trophy and add their name to a legacy of champions. Last spring at PNC Arena, it was Cloud9 overcoming Golden Guardians’ underdog story in a climatic grand final. Now, with both teams earning top seeds and byes in the Summer Playoffs, is a rematch in Newark on the cards? Or will another contender emerge to challenge the regular season hierarchy? The 2023 LCS Championship is a multi-day live event that features the final two best-of-five matches of the 2023 LCS Summer Split. After a six-week double round robin, eight of the ten LCS teams qualified for the LCS Summer Playoffs, which began on July 27. The top three teams from the LCS Summer Playoffs advance to the LCS Championship at Prudential Center and will represent North America at the 2023 League of Legends World Championship in South Korea later this year. The winner of the LCS Championship will take home the LCS Trophy and the league’s top seed at Worlds. - **[1pm PT / 4pm ET]** Saturday, August 19 — Lower Bracket Final - **[1pm PT / 4pm ET]** Sunday, August 20 — Mastercard Opening Ceremony & Grand Final Ahead of Sunday’s final, we’re excited to bring back a live musical performance to headline the Opening Ceremony presented by Mastercard. Before the games begin each day, keep it fresh with us at the LCS Fan Fest! Stretching from Mulberry Street to Championship Plaza, the Fan Fest will be packed with player & influencer meet-and-greets, team booths, music, food trucks, and giveaways from LCS partners. Inside the Fan Fest, come swing by the Riot Merch table for a look at our exclusive **LCS Fresh Summer Collection:** a beachy line of apparel and accessories headlined by bucket hats, aloha shirts, tie dye tanks and towels, all perfect gear to soak up the deep summer rays. **Want to attend the LCS Championship in cosplay? WE LOVE IT. Make sure you read the venue rules on what you can wear and bring to Prudential Center [HERE][1].** This season, we received over 50 submissions from cosplayers across North America, all competing to win the grand prize: $5,000 and two round trip tickets to an international esports event of their choice. While live on-site at LCS Summer Finals, our experienced panel of judges [Stellachuu][2], [cutiepiesensei][3], and last year's winner [Lyonaka][4] will grade the participating cosplayers — but so will you!
