From March 4-8, the Americas Cup will bring together contenders from the LCS and CBLOL for a five-day international showdown at the Riot Games Arena in São Paulo. Landing the week before First Stand, the tournament sets the tone for the early season and creates a direct competitive bridge between North and South America.
The tournament features the second- and third-place teams from the LCS and CBLOL, all competing in front of a live audience in São Paulo. With four teams and a competitive format, each series offers a rare early-season opportunity to test against top international opponents and build experience ahead of global events.
The Americas Cup runs for five days with a format built for constant action:
Upper Bracket opening matches: Best-of-3
All remaining matches: Best-of-5
Fearless Draft throughout the tournament
March 4-6: 6 pm BRT / 1 pm PST
March 7: 4 pm BRT / 11 am PST
March 8: 4 pm BRT / 12 pm PDT*
*NOTE: Daylight Savings Time change for the United States

As the tournament progresses, teams will be tested on preparation, adaptation, and consistency across longer series.
The Americas Cup also plays a direct role in international preparation. Riot will provide a fully funded, two-week bootcamp in Korea during MSI 2026 for four teams:
The third-place LCS team from LCS Lock-In
The second- and third-place CBLOL teams from Split 1
The Americas Cup champion
Last year’s LA bootcamp program proved to be a strong success. In 2026, we’re giving more Americas teams access to high-level practice. If a team qualifies for the bootcamp through multiple paths, the additional slot will be awarded back to their league, allowing up to four LCS teams or 3 CBLOL teams to train in Korea.
Fans can catch the action live or online! Tickets will go on sale at 1 pm BRT tomorrow, February 19.
