Proving Grounds Spring Begins March 16
How to watch the capstone tournament for Academy and Amateur spring play
Proving Grounds Spring is the culmination of the Academy and amateur spring season — a showcase of top teams from across North America jockeying for regional glory. Hungry Amateur talents will take their shot against established Academy sides, fueling one of the most exciting and competitive tournaments NA has ever seen.
Here’s everything you need to know about Proving Grounds Spring:
TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW

Proving Grounds Spring is a five week, online-only tournament featuring the top Top 10 teams from Amateur and Academy. While all ten Academy teams automatically qualify for Proving Grounds Spring, only the ten Amateur teams with the most circuit points — accrued from previous Spring qualifiers — will advance to the event.
To begin the event, four single elimination best-of-threes between the bottom four Academy and Amateur seeds will determine the four teams that complete the main 16-team, double elimination bracket. All matches will be best-of-three, transitioning to best-of-fives for the upper bracket final; lower bracket quarterfinals, semifinal and final; and the grand final.
While the Proving Grounds Spring will be online, we’re hopeful the Summer event will return to LAN.
