While there are many changes coming to the LEC in 2023, one thing that will remain as consistent as ever is our long-standing partnership with Kia, which will return to the rift as our Main Automotive Partner this year!
Kia was the first Main Partner the LEC signed when it rebranded back in 2018, so we’re ecstatic to continue our long-term partnership with the mobility solutions provider. As part of the partnership, Kia will continue to bring its innovation to the rift by offering unique experiences to our fans, including through the weekly Mic Check series, which captures the best team moments on the LEC stage throughout the season. In addition, fans can expect to see some super cool in-game giveaways from Kia throughout the season, and will regularly see the Kia logo on the rift and the LEC stream itself.
“We are excited to extend our partnership with the League of Legends EMEA
Championship, one of the largest and fastest growing esports platforms in the world,” said
Jason Jeong, President of Kia Europe. “We look forward to further connecting with, and
bringing further innovation to the esports community in 2023 as a long-standing sponsor.”
“Kia has been a consistent and reliable partner of the LEC for many years now, so we’re delighted to see the car manufacturer return once more as our Main Partner for the 2023 Season ” said Eva Suarez, Head of Partnerships Esport EMEA. “As a league, we’re constantly striving to innovate and bring the best experiences possible to our fans. Our partnership with Kia, which strives for innovation in everything it does, will allow us to level-up our offering and bring our followers incredible experiences throughout the season.”
