The LCS is excited to announce and deliver our newest league partner: Grubhub!
Last year, the leading online and mobile food-ordering and delivery marketplace served up deliciousness with the first Grubhub Gamer series, and they’re hungry for more!
As an appetizer: LCS fans will begin to see co-branded inclusions and activations across different channels during our first-ever Lock In Tournament, which kicks off Friday, January 15.
Then, things will really start cooking in the Spring Split, beginning on Friday, February 5.
Grubhub will help bring to life Delivering the Win, a broadcast segment highlighting game-changing moments from the week’s matchups. During each on-air piece, shoutcasters will “shout” a delivery discount code that will be available only through the following match. Once in the app, fans will have the chance to win exclusive prizes such as trips to future LCS events.
As we draw closer to the postseason, Grubhub will be integrated into multiple Road to the Finals episodes, an LCS broadcast series that zooms in on the season’s most compelling performances and storylines leading up to the postseason. Grubhub will also deliver discounts to fans from some of their favorite restaurant partners, along with in-game Hextech chests.
Finally, for dessert: Grubhub will help us crown the two LCS title champions of 2021, by serving as presenting partner of the LCS Mid-Season Showdown and the LCS Championship.
