With the 2023 Season underway, we want to provide an update about our LEC Awards! Following our newly introduced format for the LEC, we’re making some adjustments to our awards to compliment the changes to our competition.
Firstly, we’re making changes to the **All-Pro Award**, to make sure it matches the new Split structure of the LEC. Excitingly, that means we’ll have a third set of these awards for 2023, with an award being presented after each split. The **All-Pro Award** will also continue to be an expert voted award, following the changes we made last year.
Our **Finals MVP Award** will continue to be presented following each LEC Final played throughout the season, which means we’ll be adding two more awards this year. We’ll now present a **Finals MVP Award** to the best player from the Winter, Spring and Summer Split Finals, as well as the Season Finals, which this year will be held in France, when we take the roadshow experience to Montpellier, in the Occitanie region.
Finally, the **Rookie**, **MVP** and **Coaching Staff Awards** will now be presented at the end of each season. We’ll be using an expert voting format for these awards from 2023, with voting taking place following the conclusion of the Summer Split, to ensure our voting panel can assess the performance of shortlisted finalists from all three splits.
The Winter Split is still underway, and we'll be heading into our final week of winter very soon!
